Privacy policy
This policy explains what FarmArk collects, why we collect it, and the choices farm teams have about their information.
Information we process
FarmArk processes account details, farm configuration, livestock records, operational records, support messages, and the information needed to provide authenticated access to your farm.
Landing-page demonstration measurement
To understand whether our public FarmArk AI demonstration is useful, we record only anonymous milestones such as when the demonstration becomes visible, reaches its answer, or leads to registration. We do not record typed questions, farm records, account details, or other visitor-entered content for this measurement, and retain these milestones for no more than 90 days.
Authenticated product analytics
FarmArk uses PostHog to understand which pages, features, and workflows are used and where people encounter difficulty. We send pseudonymous user and farm identifiers with named product events. We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, typed prompts, AI answers, messages, notes, animal identities, financial values, payment data, credentials, or form contents in those events. PostHog can derive approximate location from the network address used to deliver an event. Product analytics are available only to authorised FarmArk staff and are subject to PostHog's retention settings.
Optional session replay
We ask for your permission before recording any session replay. If you agree, only a 20% sample of sessions on selected farm workflows is eligible. Entered information, on-screen text, and images are masked or blocked before replay data is sent. Replay helps us see navigation and usability issues. Your choice is stored in this browser and can be changed in Profile settings. Replays already collected before you withdraw permission may remain until PostHog's retention period ends; contact support to request deletion.
How we use information
We use this information to operate FarmArk, secure accounts, show farm-specific records, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell farm records or personal information.
Access and sharing
Farm owners control worker access. Information is shared only with authorised members of the same farm, service providers needed to run FarmArk, or where law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legitimate operational, legal, and security purposes. PostHog retains product events and any permitted replay according to the project's configured retention settings. Contact FarmArk support through the in-app assistant or the website support form to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information, including PostHog analytics linked to your pseudonymous identifier.
Security
FarmArk uses access controls and tenant separation designed to protect farm information. No service can promise absolute security, so users should protect their passwords and report suspected account misuse promptly.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as FarmArk evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the application.
